The Evangel School of Leadership

    The Evangel School of Leadership is a satellite of The Urban Ministry Institute. We believe that God is moving around the world and preparing men and women to be powerful leaders in our urban churches. We desire to be used as an instrument for equipping and training urban leaders as they carry the mantle of leadership in shepherding God's flock and advancing God's kingdom in the city.

Mission

    The Evangel School of Leadership exists to train and equip urban church planters and urban church leaders to advance the Kingdom of God by planting culturally conducive churches and strengthening established churches in communities of poverty. Therefore, our primary calling is not to grow large churches, but to multiply dynamic churches!

Vision

    It is our vision to see urban church planting movements among the poor and oppressed. One of the ways we see this being accomplished is by offering excellent resources to you at an affordable price. We believe that urban church leaders are an essential part of advancing God's Kingdom in communities of poverty. Therefore, we will do all that we can to equip and empower these leaders.

Who should attend?

What should I expect?

  • Students work through material in World Impact U (WIU)
  • Classes meet for 2 hours one night a week for 8 weeks
  • Class size is generally limited to 12 people
  • The curriculum is modular so there are no pre-requisites

When are online classes offered?

Online Cost Model

  • $25 Registration fee, per course
  • Students are responsible for purchasing Required Textbooks
    (Estimated textbook cost $100, per course)
  • Students may purchase physical or digital books (when possible)

Certificate in Christian Leadership Studies

    The Certificate in Christian Leadership Studies is conferred upon all students who complete our 16-module, 32-credit-hour program consisting of the Capstone Curriculum. Students from an approved TUMI satellite in good standing are eligible to receive this certificate, provided the curriculum protocols are followed from an approved mentor.
